JAKARTA - Aprilia has again made history in the automotive world by launching its most exclusive supersport bike, RSV4 X-GP, which was sold out in just 14 days after its release to the public. This model is part of a finite series X designed with MotoGP racing technology and philosophy.

Only 30 units of RSV4 X-GP are produced for the global market. At a price of 90,000 euros or around Rp. 1.74 billion. This motorbike does offer extreme performance and high exclusivity for collectors and rapidity enthusiasts.

Powered by a V4 1.099 cc engine that produces up to 238 hp of power, RSV4 X-GP is called the most powerful production motor in Aprilia history. The weight, which is only 168 kg, makes it one of the lightest super bikes in its class.

Not only that, but the aerodynamic design adopts typical MotoGP elements such as winglets at the front and stern, as well as structural carbon chair frames that make the appearance more aggressive.

This motorbike is equipped with a typical WSBK APX Racing ECU, which presents features such as transaction control, engine braking, anti-wheelie, and GPS. Each buyer will even get a Yashi laptop complete with motorcycle management software, like a professional racing team.

Suspension upper-tier suspends, Brembo GP4-MS brakes, magnesium advanced Marchesini wheels, and Pirelli slick tires racing specifications complement this racing package. Each unit also comes with a unique serial number, complete with special accessories ranging from the tyre warmers, paddock stands, covers, to NFT certificates.

President Director of Aprilia Racing, Massimo Rivola, emphasized that this model is a symbol of Aprilia's advantage and dedication to the world of racing. Therefore, fans can taste the motorbike designed for this race track.

X insists its status for Aprilia Racing as an exclusive and highly valuable brand. Aprilia Racing is synonymous with innovation and very proud to see that, even at strategic and product levels, we have created truly exclusive iconic brands and motorcycle types, specially designed for track enthusiasts," Rivola said as quoted by Visordown, Thursday, October 9.

All RSV4 X-GP units have reportedly been ordered by customers from various countries, including Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Malaysia, and the United States. At the time of its inaugural launch in Barcelona, the purchase request even far exceeded the number of units available.

The launch of the RSV4 X-GP will also be a celebration of Aprilia's 10-year return to the MotoGP event since 2015. This motorbike complements a series of models for the previous limited edition of the X series, namely RSV4 X (2019), Tuono X (2020), RSV4 X Trenta (2022), and RSV4 X ex3ma (2024).
