Bali Police Send UN Peace Mission Personnel In Central Africa

DENPASAR - The Bali Regional Police sent as many as eight personnel to follow the peace mission of the world peace mission under the UN flag in Bangui, Central African Republic.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the Bali Police, Kombes Ariasandy, said that eight Bali Police personnel were elected as the Formed Police Unit (FPU) 7 MINUSCA along with 140 other Polri soldiers.

Aryasandi explained that the eight Bali Police personnel were selected through a very strict selection process since February 2025 including competency tests, language, physical, psychological skills, as well as police tactical and technical abilities.

"After passing, they underwent Pre-Develyment Training (PDT) for almost seven months to ensure full readiness before being dispatched and deployed to Central Africa," he said, Wednesday, October 8.

The names of the Bali Police personnel who joined the UN peacekeeping force, namely:

1. IPDA I Putu Brahma Wira Pratama, SH as Deputy Commander of the Pleton Charlie Task Force FPU 7 MINUSCA (Den Gegana Satbrimobda Bali)

2. IPDA Kadek Adi Sugiarta, position Commander of Team 2 Pleton Badminton (Den Gegana Satbrimobda Bali)

3. IPDA I Komang Muliarta, position Commander of Team 1 Pleton Charlie (Bathalyon A Pioneer of Satbrimobda Bali)

4. Aipda Ni Kadek Santri Ningsih, position Food and Beverages Staff of the FPU 7 MINUSCA Task Force (Bidpropam Polda Bali)

5. Brigadier I Nengah Ariyasa, position of Sniper Pleton totaling the FPU 7 MINUSCA Task Force (Den Gegana Satbrimobda Bali)

6. Brigadier Anak Agung Gde Mahardi Prana, positioned tactical driver of the Pleton Bravo FPU 7 MINUSCA (Ditpamobvit Polda Bali)

7. Brigadier Luh Putu Dewi Framiyanti, the position of Liaison Officer of the FPU Task Force 7 MINUSCA (Ditlantas Polda Bali)

8. Bharaka I Kadek Hadi Prasetyo served as the tactical driver of the Pleton totaling the FPU 7 MINUSCA Task Force (Batalyon B Pioneer of Satbrimobda Bali).

According to Sandy, the eight members of the Bali Police should be used as examples in terms of world peace.

"They are the pride of the Bali Police as well as tangible evidence of professionalism, dedication and having the ability to support world peace," he said.

By bringing the spirit of 'Bhakti Brata Dharma', the personnel are ready to become ambassadors of the nation, maintain stability, and make Indonesia proud in the international arena through humanitarian missions under the UN flag.

A total of 140 Polri personnel who are members of FPU 7 MINUSCA will depart for Bangui, Central African Republic, to carry out a peace mission under the UN flag.

They are scheduled to depart on October 10, 2025 and will serve for a full year until October 10, 2026.

The FPU 7 MINUSCA Task Force is led by the Head of the AKBP Norhayat Task Force and will serve in Bangui and some teams will be placed in Bosangua, about 300 kilometers from the capital.
