Student Perpetrators Of Stabbing In Grogol Petamburan Threatened With Sanctions For Revocation Of KJP
JAKARTA - The West Jakarta City Government (Jakarta City Government) has threatened to revoke the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus for students involved in consecutive stabbings in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.
"If you are involved in the violence and the KJP Plus recipients, sanctions such as revocation can be applied," said West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto, ANTARA, Wednesday, October 8.
The affirmation was conveyed in response to two cases of consecutive stabbing by students in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta on Wednesday, September 17, and Friday, October 3.
"Usually if students or anyone involved in a brawl (violent acts), the sanctions are like that," said Uus.
Therefore, he continued, his party is now investigating the case of the successive stabbing.
"From us, the Sub-Department of Education (South Sumatra of the Education Office) is currently investigating the relevant schools. I don't know if the student will be involved and whether he is a KJP Plus recipient, it is being investigated," said Uus.
According to him, further investigation needs to be carried out so that the actions taken are right on target.

"The study is investigating whether he is a victim or a perpetrator so that the application of sanctions can be right on target and does not cause new problems," said Uus.
Meanwhile, the Head of the West Jakarta Regional II Education Sub-dept., Ali Mukokodas, added that his party is currently coordinating with schools and the police.
"So, we cannot refer to the recommendation of the revocation of the KJP. What must be investigated first and to what extent is the involvement of the students so that later their actions will be right on target, not detrimental to other parties," said Ali.
Previously, two cases of consecutive stabbing by students took place in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta recently.
As a result of the two acts of violence, they have claimed injuries and resulted in children facing the law (perpetrators). The perpetrators have been arrested and are still being investigated by the Grogol Petamburan Police.
