It Has Been Met By Purbaya, This Is The Reason Pramono Did Not Participate In The 24 Governors Of "Geruduk" Of The Ministry Of Finance Protests The Cut Of Transfer Funds

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung explained the reason he did not join the 24 governors throughout Indonesia who visited the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) office on Tuesday, October 7.

Yesterday, the dozens of governors met with the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive to protest the cutting of transfer funds to the regions (TKD) from the central government in the 2026 APBD.

The arrival of the governors to the Ministry of Finance occurred after Purbaya met Pramono at the DKI Jakarta City Hall. At that time, Pramono stated that he had received a transfer fund to Jakarta, which was cut by Rp. 15 trillion.

"So it happened after the Minister of Finance. For me, it is as I said (previously)," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, October 8.

"I will use this opportunity, this momentum, for alternative financing. That will be one of the keywords for building Jakarta," he continued.

Therefore, according to Pramono, the DKI Provincial Government is currently eyeing an increase in revenue from the private sector, ranging from cooperation in development programs, withdrawal of building floor coefficients (KLB), to other funding.

"How? With KLB, SP3L, SLF and all kinds of things. We have not managed it properly so far, including if possible with the Jakarta Collaboration Fund, this will be better," said Pramono.

However, Pramono views the attitude of the governors who ask that transfer funds to the regions not be cut as well as cannot be blamed. Because, he admitted that he understood how heavy the regional fiscal burden would be if the budget was cut.

"I don't blame anyone, including the governors. In my opinion, it is indeed difficult and also for Jakarta itself it must be difficult," said Pramono.

A number of governors from various provinces who are members of the Association of Provincial Governments of All Indonesia (APPSI) have objected to the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, regarding the cutting of transfer funds to the regions (TKD) in the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBN).

For information, the TKD allocation in the 2026 RAPBN is planned at IDR 692,995 trillion, or a decrease of around 24.7 percent compared to the previous year which reached IDR 919.9 trillion. This means that there is a cut of around IDR 226.9 trillion.

As many as 24 governors and deputy governors were present at the Head Office of the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, to voice their aspirations.

The regional heads who attended included Jambi, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Bangka Belitung Islands, Banten, Riau Islands, Central Java, Central Sulawesi, North Maluku, West Sumatra, DI Yogyakarta, Mountains Papua, Bengkulu, Aceh, North Sumatra, Lampung, South Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara, Southwest Papua, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Java, Gorontalo, and South Sumatra.
