Benjamin Paulus Visits The Palace, Refuses To Respond To The News Of Being Deputy Minister Of Health

JAKARTA - Benjamin Paulus Octavianus was reluctant to comment much on the news that he would be appointed Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes).

When confirmed, the Benjamin media crew has not detailed further about the news and asked the public to wait for official developments from the Palace.

"Just look again," Benjamin replied when asked about his inauguration as Deputy Minister of Health at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

When he reiterated the news of his appointment to replace the current position of Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono, he refused to speculate.

"I don't want to go ahead," he said.

Benjamin also admitted that he did not know the details of his agenda at the Palace. He only said he received an official summons from Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

"I don't know, I was just called earlier, Mr. Teddy, Cabinet Secretary, please come 14.30 WIB," said Benjamin.

When asked again if it was true that he would be sworn in as Deputy Minister of Health, Benjamin promised to explain further after the event.

Until this news was sent to the edited table, there had been no official statement from the Presidential Palace regarding the inauguration agenda.

Dr. Benjamin Paulus Octavianus is known as a lung specialist and respiratory medicine who previously served as Special Staff to the Minister of Defense for Health.
