Develop Mechanical Skills, Shell Holds Master Mechanic 2025

JAKARTA - In order to empower and develop the skills of the mechanics, Shell Indonesia presents the Shell Master Mechanic 2025 program which is attended by more than 1,800 mechanics from Shell's partner workshop in various parts of Indonesia.

Shell considers that mechanics has an important role in serving and providing solutions to customer needs in partner workshops, especially in terms of replacing lubricants for vehicles. Mechanical recommendations are one of the main factors in customer confidence.

Seeing the importance of mechanical roles, Shell Indonesia presents a program that supports Shell's partner workshop in improving service quality to customers while strengthening competitiveness and professional sustainability by improving technical skills for mechanics.

Vice President Marketing Lubricants Shell Indonesia Kartika Pelaparory, said the company always provides a series of supports for Shell's partner workshop and mechanics as the front line in serving customers.

"Through the Shell Master Mechanic 2025 program, mechanics receive comprehensive training that combines the vocational education curriculum with Shell's lubricant technology and products. We believe that increasing the potential of this skill can have a positive impact not only on the mechanics and workshop of Shell partners, but also on customer satisfaction and the automotive industry," he said in his official statement received, Wednesday, October 8.

This program itself was first launched in 2018, the Shell Master Mechanic program has become a coaching platform that provides mechanics, with technical skills as well as excellent service capabilities, so it is hoped that it can provide service recommendations and the use of the best lubricants for customers.

The mechanisms participating in Shell Master Mechanic 2025 from March to August 2025 also had the opportunity to compete against mechanics from other Shell workshops from various provinces. The competition process takes place in three stages, starting from online training, continuing to regional level competitions, to achieving national competitions to determine winners.

Shell Master Mechanic is one of the initiatives that reflects Shell's commitment through the lubricant sector where for 18 years she has maintained her position as the world's leading lubricant producer.
