Unscrupulous Members Of The Sagulung Police Are Subjected To The Ethics Process Because They Are Pregnant With Prospective Wife

The Head of Profession and Security (Head of Propam) of the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Eddwi Kurnianto, confirmed that an individual member of the Sagulung Police, Brigadier YAAS, was undergoing an ethics process because he was suspected of impregnating his wife with the initials FM (28).

"We make sure that the person concerned has been subject to a code of ethics," said Eddwi in Batam, Antara, Wednesday, October 8.

The case is of concern to his party and will immediately be processed according to the provisions so that the victim gets legal certainty. His party has examined a number of parties, including the reporter, the reported party, and several other witnesses.

FM, a prospective wife of Brigadier YAAS who is four months pregnant, underwent an examination on Monday, October 6.

However, during the process, FM experienced stomach cramps and was then rushed to Bhayangkara Hospital. The medical team stated that FM had a miscarriage.

Responding to this, Eddwi emphasized that the examination was carried out professionally and ensured that FM's condition was in good health before being questioned.

Before the examination, we have asked about his condition and confirmed that the person concerned is ready to be examined. The examination was also preceded by a health check," said Eddwi.

He added that Paminal investigators had also examined a number of other witnesses to strengthen the ethical process against YAAS.

Eddwi ensured that his party was firm and professional in handling the case. Currently, YAAS has been placed in a special placement (pathus) while the ethics process is running.

"Yes, he (YAS) is wanted. With conditions like this, the ethical process continues," he said.

In addition to ethical violations, YAAS was also reported in the alleged criminal act of sexual abuse and violence which is now being handled by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Riau Islands Police.

Head of Sub-Directorate IV Gakkum Ditreskrimum Polda Kepri AKBP Andyka Aer confirmed the report.

"We have received a report regarding the alleged abuse and sexual violence on September 26, 2025. We have also accompanied the reporter from the PPA Unit," said Andyka.
