From Inside The Truck To The Headquarters, The TNI Soldier Group Turned Into A Rescuer To Fail Curanmor

JAKARTA - A group of TNI soldiers from Battalion TP 848 thwarted the theft of three motorbikes on the toll road section in the Meruya area, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, today.

West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Arfan Zulkan Sipayung confirmed the incident.

"Yes, it is true that there was an incident, but the police report went to the Setiabudi Police," said Arfan in Jakarta.

Based on information received by ANTARA, the incident occurred when a group of soldiers from the TP 848 Battalion led by Lt. Col. Dewa was on their way to headquarters by truck.

Not far from the location, there were screams from residents who asked for help because they were chasing a silver minivan that was driving towards the toll road.

Knowing this, the truck containing the TNI group immediately chased and grabbed the vehicle until it was finally stopped.

From inside the car, members of the TNI arrested two suspected perpetrators of motor vehicle theft.

After the inspection, three motorbikes were found in the inside of the vehicle.

Allegedly, the stolen motorbike was planned to be brought by the perpetrator to Lampung.
