Vespa Officina 8 Officially Paving In Indonesia At This Price
JAKARTA - PT Piaggio Indonesia officially introduced Vespa Officina 8, a special edition collection that combines two classic Vespa icons, namely Sprint 150 and GTV 300. This model is a manifestation of the combination of the legendary design legacy of Vespa and a touch of Italian modern creativity.
Managing Director and Country CEO of PT Piaggio Indonesia, Marco Noto La Diega, said the launch of Vespa Officina 8 was a form of appreciation for the spirit of innovation and passion that had become Vespa's DNA since it first arrived.
"We are very enthusiastic about bringing Vespa Officina 8 to Indonesia. This is a celebration of creativity and passion that has formed Vespa since its beginning," Marco said, during its launch in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 7.
The name Officina itself has historical meaning, referring to the legendary experimental department of Piaggio in Pontedera, Italy. This exclusive workshop is known as the birthplace of Vestpa's revolutionary projects, where only selected technicians are allowed to work in it.

Some exterior components such as front profiles, light frames, and wheels get a touch of metallic finishing with details of diamond cuts. Meanwhile, the handlebars and emblem plates are pinned with a yellowening element that strengthens the impression of elegant and exclusive.
Not to forget, both models have three-dimensional plates on the back inspired by the legendary 'Piaggio 8' pin, a symbol previously worn only by special technicians at the Piaggio factory, Italy.
The design of the second seat of the model uses a two-layer pattern with heat-sealed and ripplet brass stitches, highlighting the pairing between classic forces and modern comfort. For Vespa Sprint Officina 8, the sporty character is getting stronger with the presence of a rear rack coated night black and a similar bar-end rearview mirror.
While the GTV Officina 8 Vespa features a retro-racing style with an open tubular handlebar and low forward lights, reminiscent of classic racing Vespa. The GTV model is also equipped with a body-like rigid cover seat, resembling the 1960s racing Vespa fairing, which reinforces the sporty character without leaving Vespa's classic silhouette.
These two special edition models are already available in all official Vespa dealer networks in Indonesia. Vespa Sprint Officina 8 is priced at IDR 63.5 million and Vespa GTV Officina 8 is IDR 179.5 million, both are on the Road Jakarta price.
