Marseille Defender Neyef Aguerd Admits He Was Attacked On His Way To Morocco
JAKARTA - Marseille defender Nayef Aguerd said via social media that a man attacked him at Marseille-Provence Airport while he was waiting for a flight to Morocco to join the national team.
According to local media, a man approached Aguerd in the airport VIP room on Monday, October 6, 2025, local time, wanting to take a selfie with the player and ask for his phone number.
Aguerd said that security officers intervened after the unknown person reportedly lost his patience and tried to hit the defender.
The 29-year-old player immediately boarded his plane to Rabat as soon as the security officers secured the situation.
