Improve The Quality Of Family Togetherness With Various Creative Activities At The 2025 Parental Festival

JAKARTA - In the midst of busy daily work, it is not uncommon for parents to have difficulty spending time with their children. According to BPS 2024 data, the average parent in urban areas spends 9-10 hours per day working outside the home, so quality time with children is often reduced and replaced with devices.

In fact, excessive screen time in children can affect emotional, social, and closeness developments with parents. Therefore, children still need direct interactions of at least 20 to 30 minutes a day through simple activities with parents.

Global research shows the involvement of music together is one of creating two-way relationships between parents and children. This also helps children focus more, train memory, and make the learning process more enjoyable.

"We can start with simple activities such as playing, telling stories, or music which is an effective means of strengthening closeness with children," said psychologist and trainer, Widyaningrum analyst, M.Sc, M.Psi, during the 2025 Parentalk Festival press conference, at Cipete, Jakarta, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

One of the events that parents and children can visit to increase togetherness, especially through music, is the Parental Festival 2025, which carries the theme Let's Groove and Play. The early festival will be held at Urban Forest Jakarta, on October 25, 2025, which presents various interesting activities.
