Apple Will Change IPhone Alarm Button To 'Geser Movement To Stop'

JAKARTA Apple has launched iOS 26.1 in beta 2 for developers. In the software trial, Apple is seen presenting changes to the Alarm app on the iPhone.

The alarm has actually made changes through the launch of iOS 26. Apple makes the stop alarm button much bigger so users can more easily turn off their reminders.

However, Apple will make it harder to turn off the button. The reason is, larger buttons allow users to turn off their alarms easily, even in a half-aware state.

Launching from 9to5mac, the alarm change in iOS 26.1 will change the large alarm turn off button by 'Get to stop'. With this change, users cannot turn off the alarm just by pressing the button once.

Users have to shift their buttons to the right so that the alarm they set can stop. This will prevent users from turning off their alarms accidentally. This sliding feature will also be applied to turn off the timer reminder.

This change is still in beta so Apple may make another change to its features in the future. This change will depend on the feedback of developers getting early access.

If you're interested in trying out the feature before Apple launches in a stable version, you can take beta testing. Make sure that the device you are using supports iOS 26.1 before registering.
