Surya Bahari Rawasaban Ship Sinks On Bokor Island, 5 Passengers In Search Of The SAR Team
JAKARTA - The fishing boat Surya Bahari Rawasaban reportedly sank in the middle of Bokor Island, near the island of Dapur, Untung Jawa Village, South Thousand Islands District, Jakarta, Tuesday 7 October 2025.
Several ship passengers are also still missing and are in search of the joint SAR team until this afternoon.
"There are five victims who have not been found. They are still being searched," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Data and Information Center (Kapusdatin), Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Until this news was broadcast, the search process was carried out. Based on the data collected, the five victims who are still being searched are Kartani, Wawan, Kacung, Udin and Badminton.
The ship sank in the early hours of Tuesday at around 03.00 WIB.

"The ship initially departed on Monday 6 October 2025 at around 21.00 WIB, leaving Muara. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday 7 October at around 03.00 WIB in the middle of Bokor Island near the island of Dapur," he said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the ship and a number of crew members were still being searched by the joint SAR team who were members of the Thousand Islands BPBD P2B, Navy Personnel (TNI AL) Tanjung Kait and Marine Transportation personnel of Loker Karangantu.
"Three fishing boats are currently searching," he said.
Meanwhile, there were three survivors named Wahyudin (the captain), Imron and Juli.
