Vespa LX 150 Launches, Piaggio Indonesia Stops Sales LX 125

JAKARTA - PT Piaggio Indonesia recently introduced the latest Vespa LX with a larger engine capacity of 150 cc. With the presence of this model, the LX 125 cc variant will automatically be stopped production and not be sold in the country.

"We will replace all of the LX variants in the future," answered PT Piaggio Indonesia's PR & Communication Manager, Ayu Hapsari in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 7.

Vespa LX maintains a timeless steel unibody design, but now looks fresher thanks to modern details. Vespa's distinctive round front light mixes with gray accents on the handle grip and seat, as well as white details on the front tie and wheels.

Meanwhile, the touch of chrome on mirrors, body, and exhaust covers emphasizes an elegant and stylish impression. The update also touches the technical aspect. Vespa LX 150 now comes with a new engine that is refined through an arm swing update on the roller box, resulting in reduced friction and more durable components.

Machine connections and frames are also updated to make the vibrations smoother. The engine capacity is 154.8cc, with a maximum power of 9.2 kW @ 7,750 rpm and a torque of 12.4 Nm @ 6,750 rpm.

The capacity of the fuel tank itself is 7.5 liters, and the dimensions are 1.770mm long, 705mm wide with a wheelbase of 1.280mm. The newest Vestpa LX 150 is designed to be a medium of self-expression.

Available in 4 options of Lilac Euforico (ungu), Green Amabile (green), Red Scarlatto (red) and White Innocent (white) colors. Regarding the price, this Vespa LX 150 I-Get is priced at IDR 46,500,000 (OTR Jakarta), as seen on its official website.

From generation to generation, Vespa has become an icon of an eternal style. However, a true icon does not only live in the past, but rather evolves to define the future and the present. The latest Vespa LX is here for a generation of young people who dare to express themselves, live colorful lives, and move with the aim," said Managing Director and Country CEO of PT Piaggio Indonesia, Marco Noto La Diega.
