MPR Chair Waits For Prabowo's Decision On The Composition Of The Police Reform Committee

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani, responded to the question of the National Police Reform Committee which President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate this week. Muzani admitted that he did not know the number of people who would join the Police Reform Committee.

"I am waiting for the number of people, personnel, to be shown by the President. We will see later," Muzani told reporters in Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 7.

Regarding his hopes regarding the National Police Reform Committee, Muzani did not comment much. According to him, the expectations of the community are very clear.

"Hopefully the community will be clear and clear enough," he said.

Previously, the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, revealed that the Police Reform Committee would be inaugurated and inaugurated by President Prabowo next week.

"Next week, the president will announce and inaugurate it," said Prasetyo Hadi at Monas, Jakarta, Sunday, October 5.

However, Prasetyo did not want to reveal who the figures who would fill the committee were. When asked that members of the Police Reform Committee would contain nine people, Prasetyo was only joking.

"Well, how do you know? You can already leak it, right?" he said.
