Deadlock Bill Budget, US Government Shutdown Continues Seventh Day

Members of the Democratic Party and Republicans in the US Senate failed to ratify the draft law (RUU) for federal budget spending, Monday 6 October local time or Tuesday 7 October WIB.

Citing ABC News, the US Senate meeting did not reach an agreement aka deadlock.

During the voting agenda, the results produced to ratify the bill were less than 60 votes.

The bill proposed by the ruling government from the Republican Party was rejected with the results of the 52-42 vote.

Meanwhile, the proposal submitted by the Democrats regarding the health service budget was rejected with a vote of 45-55.

Thus, the closure of the US government or shutdown will resume on the seventh day of the current year.
