Airlangga Claims Indonesia's Investment Reaches IDR 1,400 Trillion In The Third Quarter Of 2025

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto revealed that the investment target for the third quarter of 2025 had exceeded expectations, reaching around Rp. 1,400 trillion.

This achievement was known after he discussed with the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming as well as the Head of BKPM and the CEO of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani.

"Yesterday I spoke with the Minister of Investment, as well as the CEO of Danantara, this is in the II4th quarter the target was achieved, so around Rp. 1,400 trillion, from our target at the end of this year of Rp. 1,900 trillion," he said at the event 'Navigating Indonesian Economy Amid Global Shifts' in Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 7.

In addition, he said that investment realization in the first semester of 2025 reached Rp942 trillion, or an increase of 13.6 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

"Through investment, the first half of IDR 942 trillion compared to last year's increase," he said.

He also reiterated the importance of investment as one of the main pillars in encouraging national economic growth and absorbing labor.

In the midst of global economic uncertainty, he said that the Indonesian economy still shows a fairly good resilience, with growth in the second quarter of 2025 recorded at 5.12 percent, when compared to various other countries, including members of the G20, Indonesia is still on a positive track.

"Thank God Indonesia is still growing solidly, yesterday in the second quarter it was still 5.12 percent compared to many countries and also among the G20 countries Indonesia was still positive, so of course this is a sign that in the midst of uncertainty we can still maintain it," he said.

In addition, according to him, this is also reflected in strong market confidence, with the JCI setting an all-time high.

"Even the JCI is an all-time high. It also shows confidence, the reverse of international trust in Indonesia is relatively good," he said.
