The Chairperson Of The NTB DPRD Was Summoned By The Prosecutor Regarding The Alleged Gratification Of The 'Siluman' Pokir Fund
Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of West Nusa Tenggara Province Baiq Isvie Rupaeda was summoned by investigators from the local High Prosecutor's Office regarding the alleged gratification of 'luminous' funds in managing the main budget of the mind or pokir in 2025.
"I was summoned regarding the alleged gratification carried out by several new members of the NTB DPRD," said Baiq Isvie when met after fulfilling the summons of investigators at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, October 7.
In a statement before investigators, Baiq Isvie, who was present with the assistance of an aide, admitted that he conveyed many things. "But because of some I don't know, so I answer what I know, what I hear," he said.
He emphasized that he had never been involved in receiving the "stealth" fund because it did not go through him as Chairman of the NTB DPRD.
"At all I don't know because it doesn't go through me. This is not through the mechanism regulated in the provisions. Yes, of course if I didn't know, I would say I don't know. As chairman of the DPR, I understand my task is not wrong if you think like that," he said.
Likewise, the nominal value of the poor funds received by members of the council, Baiq Isvie as Chairman of the NTB DPRD did not know this.
"Oh, I don't know, so I can't answer that," he said.
Regarding the internal sanctions for the receipt of the no-man's funds, Baiq Isvie chose not to give a response.
"It's not that direction because we don't know who the perpetrators are. So, I haven't spoken like that yet because if we talk about administrative sanctions, yes, the party," he said.
Including when confirmed regarding the role of contractors as financiers of the distribution of funds, Baiq Isvie again stated that he did not know about this.
"I don't know, what I heard and knew I said, if I never heard I would never tell you," said Baiq Isvie.
Baiq Isvie emphasized that he as chairman of the NTB DPRD hoped that this issue could be resolved soon.
"I personally hope that this case will be completed quickly and we can carry out the tasks of the mechanism in accordance with the rules. Hopefully this will be a lesson for all of us not to do things that are not intended," he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, confirmed the examination of the chairman of the NTB DPRD in the alleged corruption case of the Pokir fund for the 2025 fiscal year.
