JAKARTA - Behind his laughter and enthusiasm to rise, comedian Nunung still has to struggle hard to maintain his health after being sentenced to breast cancer some time ago.
He revealed that his monthly medical expenses reached tens of millions of rupiah, a fantastic figure.
"It could take up to 40 million a month. Yes. And it must be," said Nunung in the South Jakarta area, recently.
These costs are not only for drugs, but also for routine examination of the function of the body's organs such as the kidneys and heart due to the large consumption of drugs.
Although the cost of treatment was very large and had made him dizzy, Nunung now feels grateful that he has been able to handle it.

"Yes, whatever pain it heals, it comes back from us first. We are excited to get well or not? Want to be treated like anything if we don't have the spirit to recover, it's useless," he said.
Now, he is also starting to maintain a diet by reducing rice, sugar, and flour to control his weight according to the doctor's advice.
