Growing 10.65 Percent, BRI Consumer Credit Reaches IDR 216.26 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) recorded a significant increase in the distribution of consumer loans in 2025.
As of August 2025, consumer credit (bank only) reached IDR 216.26 trillion, growing by 10.65 percent on an annual basis (yoy).
BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny explained that BRI's consumer credit growth was supported by the increasing public trust in the Company's superior products. One of them is salaries-based loans, namely BRIguna, which recorded outstanding as of August 2025 of IDR 143.4 trillion, growing 9.8 percent on an annual basis (yoy).
"In addition, Home Ownership Loans (KPR) also show solid performance with outstanding IDR 63.7 trillion, or an increase of 13.5 percent yoy, in line with the high community's need for housing," said Dhanny in a statement to the media, Tuesday, October 7.
Along with solid credit growth, continued Dhanny, BRI also continues to prioritize the principle of prudence in lending.
This is reflected in the well-maintained quality of financing in the consumer segment.
"With the quality of credit maintained, BRI is optimistic that it can continue to grow the consumer credit portfolio in a healthy manner," he continued.
As for sustainably, BRI continues to strengthen capabilities in the retail banking segment, including through BRIguna products that have become market leaders.
In this case, BRI acquired quality payroll customers to support BRIguna's growth, as well as expand the KPR portfolio by acquiring new to bank (NTB) profitability-oriented customers.

On the other hand, BRI is also revamping Wealth Management services to attract affluent and high net worth individual (HNWI) customers.
"Through superior products such as BRIguna and KPR, BRI not only distributes financing, but also presents financial solutions that are inclusive, sustainable, and have a direct impact on people's welfare," said Dhanny.
