Great, Indonesian Tennis Player Janice Tjen Enters The Top 100 World
JAKARTA - Indonesian women's tennis player Janice Tjen managed to enter the WTA Top 100 rankings after participating in the WTA 125 Suzhou event in China.
According to the WTA rankings, as reported by Antara Monday, Janice is currently ranked No.99 in the world, the highest in her career, with a winning/loss record of 67/14.
The 23-year-old Jakarta-born tennis player also recorded an increase in ranking in the double sector, namely in the 155th position, the highest in his career, with a winning/loss record of 58/23.
He achieved this success after winning the WTA 125 Suzhou double title with his compatriot Aldila Sutjiadi.
In the singles sector of WTA 125 Suzhou, Janice managed to qualify for the main round after going through two matches in the qualifying round with a straight set victory. However, he had to stop in the first half after losing to Varvara Lepchenko.
Janice arrived in Suzhou after aground in the first round of the WTA 1000 China Open, Thursday. Even so, he managed to jump one step by ranking 102nd in the world through a qualifying round victory.

He also made history by ending Indonesia's long wait for the presence of a women's singles player at the Grand Slam, after being last represented by Angelique Widjaja at the 2004 US Open.
According to WTA records, before arriving in New York for US Open qualifiers, Janice has won 45 of her last 50 professional matches.
During that period, it reached nine ITF finals, won six titles, and rose more than 200 places, from 371 to 149.
