JAKARTA - Naykilla is well aware that going viral is a shortcut for a musician, especially a singer, to be widely known by music lovers.
With so many platforms that can be used today, Naykilla sees many things that can go viral on social media. But the main problem is, those who are famous in a short time become more easily forgotten.
In this generation, viral is very easy. But the decline is also easy, said Naykilla, when met before appearing at the Synchronize Fest 2025 event in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 5.
According to him, going viral must be followed by continuing to work consistently. That way, the introduction obtained can be maintained.
"In my opinion, if it's just viral but doesn't do anything, it's useless," said Naykilla.
"We have to make something, we have to be creative, keep making things," he added.
Naykilla felt there was no other way than to make a new breakthrough after it went viral. With confidence, he expressed readiness to release his first mini album or extended play (EP) this October.
Starting with the release of the opening single on October 10, a week later, the EP with the title "Centil" will be launched as Naykilla's new breakthrough.
"I will release my solo EP this month, October 17, Jemsii will also produce it," he concluded.
For information, Naykilla became widely known and became a new idol for Gen Z after the song with Tenxi and Jemsii, 'Garam and Madu', went viral and played a lot on social media.
Although now known as a hipdut genre supporter, Naykilla has started her musical journey since 2019 through a single titled "Believe".
Before carrying out the genre that combines hip-hop and dangdut elements, Naykilla already has several other singles with different musical styles, such as Changed, Gone & Lemon, You, 2nd, to dEsTRoy yOu (AGAIN).
