Up 41 Percent, Jabodebek LRT Users Reach 57,993 People On Weekends
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI recorded a significant increase in the number of Jabodebek LRT users which reached 57,993 users last weekend.
The number of users increased by 41 percent compared to the average weekend user during September 2025 of 41,006 users.
The Executive Vice President of the Jabodebek LRT, Mochammad Purnomosidi, said that this increase was triggered by the commemoration of the anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (HUT TNI) in the Monas area, Jakarta.
"The TNI's anniversary encourages many residents to use the Jabodebek LRT service to go to and return from the activity area, so that the number of users increases throughout the day," he said in an official statement, Monday, October 6.
The three stations with the highest number of users are Dukuh Atas BNI Station as many as 13,315 tap-in and 13,523 tap-out users.
Then, Harjamukti Station as many as 7,386 tap in users and 7,426 tap out users.
Then, Cikoko Station as many as 5,534 users tap in and 5,471 users tap out.
"The BNI Dukuh Atas Station is the station with the highest number of users because it is supported by integration with other modes of transportation such as Transjakarta and Commuter Line, making it easier for people to move towards the city center," he explained.
Meanwhile, Harjamukti Station is dominated by users from Cibubur and its surroundings, while Cikoko Station is a transit point for users who continue their journey using the Commuter Line at Commuter Line Cawang Station.
"We would like to thank people who have used the Jabodebek LRT to support smooth mobility during TNI Anniversary activities and weekend holidays," he said.
