Honda Style 160 Inter-Indonesian Modifiers To Japan's Honda Stylo Event
JAKARTA The world of modification of the country has made achievements again. One of the works of the nation's children from the 2025 Honda Dream Ride Project (HDRP) was chosen to appear at a world-class modification exhibition, Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2025, which will be held in Japan on 7 December.
This work is the result of the collaboration of the three national champions of Honda Modif Contest (HMC) 2024 with the top builder, featuring the transformation of Honda Style 160 with a modern retro retro style that is both fashionable and expressive, which represents today's driving lifestyle.
The 2025 Customfest event in Yogyakarta is the starting point of the journey. After going through a rigorous assessment process by an international jury, the work of Vulla Hendrata was selected, which carries the Neo Boardtracker concept on Honda Style 160.
Vulla's work managed to steal the attention of world caliber judges such as Kaichiro Badminton (Cherry's Company), Masayuki Sugihara (Luck MC), and Yuichi Yoshizawa (Custom Works Zon). The work is considered brave, full of character, and has a touch of high artisticity that deserves to compete on the international stage.
"I am very grateful, hard work in the last four months has finally paid off. It takes extra effort, thoughts, and costs to complete this Arjuno project. I want to bring my best work so that I can make Indonesia proud of its name atTENance," said Vulla Hendrata, the winner of the 2024 HMC Free For All (FFA) class, in Astra Honda Motor (AHM) official statement, Tuesday, October 6.
During the four months of the work process, Vulla made various adjustments, ranging from frame shape, headlamp, to stoplamp, to match the futuristic character carried by the Neo Boardtracker concept.
The representative of Bunges, Yano Sunny, who was present at the Customfest, praised the quality of Indonesian modifiers. According to him, the Honda motorbike was made in an unexpected style.
"I am very surprised to see the work of the three HDRP participants using the Honda Stylo160 base. The winning motorbike dared to appear different and be executed with high standards. Welcome to compete in our event in Japan," he said.
