The Central Government Transfer Fund Cut To Jakarta Is The Largest Compared To Other Regions
JAKARTA - Local governments in Indonesia must now accept the harsh reality of the nominal deduction of transfer funds from the central government to the regions.
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said Jakarta was the province with the largest 2026 APBD transfer funds compared to other regions.
"This is not only experienced in Jakarta, this is experienced by all regions. Jakarta is indeed the biggest cut," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, October 6.
In Jakarta, the central government cut transfer funds of up to IDR 15 trillion. This figure is many times larger than other regions, such as West Java of IDR 2.45 trillion and East Java of IDR 2.81 trillion.
"This is a challenge for me and the Deputy Governor to be able to complete our targets well," said Pramono.
The DPRD and the DKI Provincial Government have actually planned the Jakarta APBD next year with a nominal jumbo amount of IDR 95.35 trillion.
From this plan, it is projected that transfer receipts in the form of profit-sharing funds (DBH), general allocation funds (DAU), and special allocation funds (DAK) from the central government in 2026 will reach Rp26 trillion.

However, with the recent cut in transfer funds from the Ministry of Finance, next year's projected DKI APBD will have to be reduced to IDR 79.06 trillion.
"The Jakarta government will try. What is usually with a fairly large budget, this year actually Rp95 trillion will be Rp79 trillion, we still have to smile and optimism to be able to build Jakarta," said Pramono.
