JAKARTA - The West Java (West Java) Natural Resources Conservation Center (BBKSDA) observed a leopard that had previously entered the Anugerah Hotel, Bandung City, to Lembang Park Zoo, West Bandung Regency.

"For further action, we will conduct an observation first at Lembang Park Zoo because after all this wildlife, will experience the same stress as us," said Eri in Bandung, Monday.
After the observation results show stable animal conditions, he said, they will soon be transferred to the Cikananga Animal Rescue Center (PPSC), Sukabumi Regency.
He added that the leopard will be considered for release back into its natural habitat after rehabilitation.

Previously, the Sukasari Police Chief, Kompol Ni Wayan Mirasni, said that his party received a report on the presence of a leopard from the hotel at around 07.00 WIB and immediately went to the location.
He explained that the joint team immediately carried out reformation efforts to paralyze the animal by preparing nets to narrow the space for leopards to move.
At around 10.00 WIB, he continued, the tiger's movement was successfully paralyzed. Officers then evacuated the leopard into an iron cage and took it to the lower floor of the hotel.
His party is still investigating the possibility that the leopard is an animal that previously escaped from the quarantine cage of Lembang Park and Zoo, West Bandung Regency.
"The allegation at that time was vague, but further identification is still needed," said Ni Wayan Mirasni.
