Febri Diansyah Reveals 90 Percent Gas Station Digitization Project Employed By Telkomsigma, A Subsidiary Of PT Telkom

JAKARTA - Lawyer Febri Diansyah revealed that a subsidiary of PT Telkom, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka or Telkomsigma is working on nearly 90 percent of the PT Pertamina (Persero) public fuel filling station (SPBU) digitization project.

This was conveyed by the former KPK spokesman who is currently the attorney for one of the suspects in the corruption case of digitizing Pertamina gas stations, namely Elvizar as the former President Director of PT Pasifik Cipta Solusi. He initially explained that the project was divided into a number of parties and Telkomsigma got the most part.

"There is a subsidiary (PT Telkom, ed), Telkomsigma assigned or appointed. Telkomsigma manages about 90 percent of the total value of the Pertamina gas station digitization project," Febri told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, October 6.

This digitization project, continued Febri, was also divided into PT PINS Indonesia as another Telkom subsidiary.

Then where is the position of my client as a private party, my client is a small part of less than 50 percent of the project carried out by PT PINS Indonesia. So our client company handles around 4 percent of Pertamina's total IDR 3.6 trillion digitalization project," he said.

Thus, Febri asked the anti-corruption commission not only to focus on investigating the actions of his client but to pursue a bigger perpetrator.

"That's what we need to say. Well, we don't really know whether the KPK is only focused on this 4 percent or the KPK will also look further at the total of this project," he said.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo agreed that Febri Diansyah was present to accompany the suspect in the Pertamina gas station digitization corruption case.

"The provisions are Article 54 of the Criminal Procedure Code, a suspect has the right to be accompanied by a legal advisor," Budi said in a written statement.

Elvizar has been questioned several times in the case of corruption in the digitization of PT Pertamina gas stations. He is also known to be a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of EDC machines at state-owned banks.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the KPK has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and Elvizar as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

The three suspects are suspected of causing losses to the state. This is because it is suspected that there was too much to pay for in the project which began when Pertamina imposed a policy of using the quick response (QR) code for customers who bought subsidized fuel oil (BBM).
