BMKG: Most of Indonesia Has Potential for Light Rain Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts light rain in most parts of Indonesia on Monday, October 6.

"Heavy clouds are predicted in Banda Aceh, and Padang," said BMKG forecaster Sastia Frista on the BMKG YouTube channel, as quoted by ANTARA Jakarta, Monday morning.

Light rain is potential in Medan and Pekanbaru.

The public is asked to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Tanjung Pinang.

The BMKG predicts light rain in Bengkulu, Jambi, Palembang, and Bandar Lampung.
