DVI East Java Police Identify 2 Victims Of Collapse At Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School, A Total Of 10 Bodies
The East Java Regional Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team managed to identify two additional bodies of victims of the collapse of the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) building in Sidoarjo. The two victims are known to have come from Bangkalan and Surabaya.
"Today, Sunday, October 5, 2025, the East Java Police DVI Team has succeeded in identifying the two bodies," said Head of the East Java Police Dokkes Kombes M. Khusnan at Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya, Antara, Sunday, October 5.
Khusnan explained that the first victim was Nurudin (13), a man from Karang Gayam Village, Blega District, Bangkalan Regency. He was identified through teeth, medicine, and property.
The second victim, Ahmad Rijalul Haq (16), from Jalan Dapuan Baru, Krembangan Village, Pabean Cantian District, Surabaya, was identified through teeth, medical, property, and fingerprints.
With the addition of these two victims, a total of ten bodies have been identified from 45 body bags received by the DVI team.
Of the 45 body bags, five have been identified in Sidoarjo, three were sent yesterday and now two more have been identified. Of the total, there are four bags containing body parts," said Khusnan.
Previously, the DVI Team had identified three other victims at Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya, namely Firman Nur (16), Muhammad Azka Ibadur Rahman (13), and Daul Milal (15), all of whom came from Surabaya.
