Djarum Foundation And PSSI Hold Certification License D

JAKARTA The Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service in collaboration with the All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) held a national License D coaching certification.

This activity was attended by as many as 30 coaches and sports teachers in Kudus and lasted for one week from September 29 to October 5, 2025 at the Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java.

The implementation of Linsensi D was commanded by Muhammad Hanafing Ibrahim as PSSI Educator Coach who also has an AFC Pro license.

Program Director of MilkLife Soccer Challenge Teddy Tjahjono said that this activity was initiated to improve the quality of coaches and sports teachers, especially in providing better football coaching for their students.

He said the implementation of this certification was also part of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) series with the hope that the quality of MLSC participants in Kudus in the upcoming edition will increase.

"We see that many sports teachers do not yet have the ability to formally train football. So, hopefully this program can be an initial footing for the birth of more quality coaches," said Teddy.

With this training and certification, the coaches are expected to be able to implement the knowledge and licenses obtained to support the development of early childhood football in their respective regions.

This is in line with the vision of the Djarum Foundation and the MilkLife Sports Service to advance women's soccer in the country.

"With more licensed coaches, the football ecosystem in the regions will develop healthier and more sustainable, including in supporting the growth of women's soccer which is now also getting more attention," said Teddy.

The coaching schedule is divided into two stages, namely the theoretical and practice sessions. Through this method, the participants not only get coaching knowledge in class, but also the opportunity to immediately apply it in the field.

During the practice session, a number of athletes were also involved to become props in the field. Coach Hanafing was accompanied by assistant coach Yayat R. Hidayat and Pamungkas Yuli Kurniawan throughout a series of coaching certifications.

Several classes of theories provided range from the philosophy of Indonesian football (Filanesia), the role of a coach, the principle of defense & attacking, game management, the acquisition phase of skills, the phase of game development, to the phase of appearance.

Meanwhile, for practice sessions, including passing & first touch, dribling & running with the ball, attack building up, defending high press, defending prevent goal, game management preparation, to football conditioning 11v11.

PSSI Educator Coach Muhammad Hanafing Ibrahim emphasized the importance of this certification in preparing a competent coach.

"Lisensi D is an entry point for anyone who wants to seriously pursue a career in the world of football coaching. Through this course, the participants are equipped with a basic foundation in order to be able to train according to PSSI standards," he said.

Certification of license D, which usually costs up to IDR 3 million, but on this occasion participants only spend much more affordable costs, which is IDR 750 thousand.

This initiative is carried out so that more coaches and sports teachers in Kudus have the opportunity to improve their competence.

Just Nurkha Habibi, who is a sports teacher at Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Birrul Walidain, as well as a participant in this activity, admitted that she was helped by this program.

"With this program, we can learn directly from PSSI instructors. I hope that the knowledge I can apply in schools to guide children to play football better and be disciplined," he said.
