Marc Marquez Cracks Bones After Accident At MotoGP Mandalika 2025
JAKARTA - Marc Marquez suffered a broken bone in the aftermath of the accident he experienced while appearing at the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP.
In the race that took place at the Mandalika Circuit, Sunday, October 5, Marc Marquez was hit by Marco Bezzecchi from behind at the seventh corner as the lap had only been running one lap.
Because of this incident, Marc Marquez bounced and landed on the Gravel. Although it seemed that he had risen again, Marquez was seen holding his right shoulder.
The Ducati racer was then taken to the medical room and after that, the Head of the MotoGP Medical Team, dr. Angel Carte said the initial suspicion that Marquez's incident caused him to crack his spine.
There seems to be a small fracture. There is a bit of confusion over the fact that it is the (section) of the operated arm," Charte told DAZN quoted on Sunday, October 5.
The Ducati Team Manager, Davide Tardozzi, also revealed the same thing, which said Marquez was most likely experiencing a fracture in the right hull.
After undergoing an examination in the medical room, Marquez then returned to the Ducati paddock. Not long after, Marquez left the paddock and stated that he would return to Madrid, Spain, from Indonesia this Sunday night.
"Now I'm going back to Madrid, and whatever the doctor says, that's the time I'm going to go through for recovery," Marquez told DAZN while being held on the right hand.
The injury made Marc Marquez doubtful in the 2025 Australian MotoGP race at the Phillip Island Circuit on 17-19 October.
