Balikpapan Returns 3,200 Doses Of AstraZeneca Vaccine In CTmAV547 Batch, What Is It?
BALIKPAPAN - Task Force (Task Force) handling COVID-19 Balikpapan, East Kalimantan Province returned astrazeneca vaccine batch CTMAV547 which has just been received to the National COVID-19 Task Force in Jakarta.
"We returned as many as 320 vials or 3,200 doses," said Spokesperson of the Balikpapan COVID-19 Task Force who is also the Head of the Balikpapan Health Office (Kadinkes) dr Andi Sri Juliarty in Balikpapan, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 17.
The return is due to the National Commission for Post-Immunization Follow-up Events (Komnas KIPI) is reviewing the provision of AstraZeneca Vaccine, especially the CTMAV547 batch for the next two weeks.
KIPI is a number of things that happen to patients who receive immunizations, although it also does not happen to all patients. Related to this are complaints of dizziness, nausea, muscle aches, joint pain, pain in the place where the former was injected, fever, and malaise (feeling tired, uncomfortable, unwell).
Kipi baiasnya will disappear by itself in a day-two after vaccinating. If not lost, the patient is advised to report to the nearest healthcare facility.
Especially for AstraZeneca Vaccine, although not in Indonesia, there were reported patients who had blood clots or blood clots.
Therefore, the government felt the need to reassure the safety of the CTMAV547 batch vaccine in two weeks. AstraZeneca's vaccine with other batches has so far been reported safe.
Furthermore, if Komnas KIPI ensures astrazeneca vaccine batch CTMAV547 is safe then the Balikpapan COVID-19 Task Force will request the vaccine again as many as 3,200 doses.
"It's already the right of Balikpapan," juliarty said.
Moreover, Balikpapan is preparing face-to-face learning in schools that require teachers of no less than 6,000 people to be vaccinated first. Similarly, vaccination targets are still being pursued for the elderly and those working in the public service sector, including market traders.
