Ahmad Amirruddin Appointed As Temporary Coach After PSM Makassar Left By Bernardo Tavares
JAKARTA - PSM Makassar management officially appointed Ahmad Amirruddin as interim coach. This follows Bernardo Tavas' decision to withdraw from the team.
"Assistant coach, Ahmad Amiruddin, will act as caretaker until the new head coach is appointed," said PSM Media Officer, Sulaiman Karim in a release quoted on Sunday, October 5.
In the same statement, Sulaiman Karim also stated that PSM Makassar has officially also announced a separation from Bernardo Tavares as head coach.
"The club respects the decisions that have been taken and expresses its gratitude for all the achievements that have been achieved for approximately 3.5 seasons of traveling with the team," he said
After Bernardo's departure, he stated that the team's operational activities would continue to run normally and remain focused on the remainder of the 2025/2026 Super League season.

Sule, as he is familiarly called, hopes that the supporters will continue to support the club, the pride of the people of South Sulawesi, so that they can navigate the season well.
