BPJT Targets The Bogor 'Serpong Toll Road Via Parung To Operate August 2028
JAKARTA - The Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) targets the Bogor 'Serpong Toll Road via Parung to operate in 2028.
Head of BPJT of the Ministry of Public Works, Wilan Oktavian, said that the construction of the toll road will begin in October next year.
"Based on the implementation method that has been prepared together, the construction of this toll road is scheduled to start with land acquisition. It is hoped that the construction can start in October 2026 and is targeted for completion in August 2028," said Wilan at the signing of the Bogor Toll Road PPJT. "Serpong at the PU Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, October 3.
Wilan explained that the Bogor 'Serpong' Toll Road project via Parung will have a length of 32.03 kilometers (km). The toll road consists of 27.83 km in West Java province, 4.2 km in Banten province and is divided into 4 sections.
The details, Section 1 of the Salabenda Junction to the Pondok Udik Interchange (SS) are 3.97 km long. Section 2 of the Pondok Udik Interchange to the 9.27 km Putat Nutug Interchange.
Then there is Section 3, Interchange of Putat Nutug to Simpang Susun Rumpin along 8.23 km. Finally, there is Section 4, Simpang Susun Rumpin to Junction Serpong along 10.56 km.
Then, the toll road is designed with a standard speed of 100 km per hour, a lane width of 3.6 meters and a configuration of 2times2 lanes in the early stages which will be developed into 2times3 lanes in the final stages, in accordance with the projected growth of mobility in the future.
"The construction of this toll road is expected to support connectivity in Jabodetabek, encourage the development of areas along the corridor, create new economic growth centers and have a positive impact on the regional economy, especially in Jabodetabek and its surroundings," he explained.
