Jorge Martin Confirmed Absent From MotoGP Australia
It is confirmed that Jorge Martin has not been able to recover, so he must miss the 2025 Australian MotoGP race which will take place in the next two weeks.
The Aprilia Racing racer suffered his fourth injury this year due to miscalculation of the braking zone at Turn 1 Sprint Race in Motegi, Japan, last weekend.
Aprilia's manager, Paolo Bonora, has confirmed in a recent statement that the matter prevented Martin from recovering on time for the Phillip Island race later.
"The injury is severe, for sure. The operation is very good. Now we are consulting a doctor on a recovery plan to find out when he will return to the racing arena," Bonora said.

Loss of control in Motegi saw Martin stab into the side of his Aprilia teammate, Marco Bezzecchi, who eventually caused the Italian to fall as well.
Bezzecchi avoided serious injuries, but Martin suffered a shifted right-back fracture, which required surgery earlier this week in Spain.
Bonora juga belum bisa memastikan apakah Martin sudah bisa pulih untuk balapan-balapan berikutnya setelah Australia. Masih ada tiga seri tersisa setelah itu.
"Because the injury is very severe, not a regular bone fracture, there are two places. So, we need to wait. We have to wait for a medical examination to understand his physical condition day by day," he said.
Martin previously missed many races earlier this season after two serious pre-season accidents and ahead of the opening race in Thailand.
The problem made him miss the opportunity to defend the world title, which finally fell into the hands of Marc Marquez of the Ducati Lonovo Team.
