Supporter Nottingham Forest Asks Postecoglou To Be Fired After Losing In The Europa League
JAKARTA - Nottingham Forest manager, Ange Postecoglou, admitted he heard of supporters' concerns following a 2-3 loss to Midtjylland in the Europa League at City Ground.
Ousmane Diao grabbed the empty goal for the opener, but the home fans cheered when Dan Ndoye equalized. However, Midtjylland took the lead again through Mads Bech.
Chris Wood scored two goals which were ruled out for offside. The hosts were caught in a counter-attack by Valdemar Andreasen who finally sealed a win with a third goal for the Danish team.
Wood scored a penalty in injury time to narrow the gap, but that's not enough to stop the echoing ridicule at City Ground as supporters chanted "fired this morning" at Postecoglou.

"The fans were disappointed. They can have an opinion about it and I heard their opinion. Nothing surprised me anymore in football."
"I think it's just the climate we're facing and that's how it looks. However, it's not something I can control."
"It's my responsibility to make sure we try to win some for this football club and advance it. That's what I will focus on," said Postecoglou.
The result left Postecoglou still unwinned since taking over - four times out of six games.
He became the first winless permanent manager of Nottingham Forest in his first six games in 100 years.
Even so, the Australian coach believes he can turn things around.
"Yes, I ( BELIEVE things can change) and there's nothing I saw tonight that changed all that."
"I understand the atmosphere here won't be good. I understand the attitude of today's people, especially towards me, but I've never worried about it. It's nothing foreign to me."
"I really believe we are on the right track. When we get through this period of uncertainty, we will be on a good track."
"Of course I'd rather people be optimistic about what I'm doing, I understand that, but I can only change that by winning football games."
"I really believe in the process in what we do and don't think we're far from getting the results we need," Postecoglou said again.
Midtjylland won their second straight win in the Europa League. They were in second place in the standings after the win.
Midtjylland manager Mike Tullberg is proud to win over the Premier League team in what he calls an extraordinary atmosphere.
"We fought an amazing England team and the players played very well. The hosts were fantastic early in the game."
"Being in this atmosphere is truly extraordinary. Really, happy for us, a great victory. May Nottingham Forest get their target this season," said Tullberg.
