Mode Of Cleaning Garbage, 6 Men In Lenteng Agung Ask Residents For Money By Force

JAKARTA - After going viral on social media, six men in Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta were secured by Satpol PP officers for making local residents restless.

In the video seen, initially, the six men cleaned the houses of neighborhood residents of RW 8 Lenteng Agung. However, his good intentions were used as an excuse to ask for money from residents whose houses were cleaned by him.

"Where did you come from bro?" asked the man, one of the residents of Lenteng Agung who was suspicious of the perpetrator's activities.

Casually, the man faced the camera. He admitted that he was asking residents for donations because he had cleaned his home environment.

"I'm viral, I'm. Ask for this money, donate," said one of the perpetrators.

The video recorder was still curious, and asked again where the perpetrators came from and their permission to carry out these activities.

"Where did you come from? Have you told the RW management yet?" asked the recorder again. The man only replied that he was a member of an organization called Rumpp. Spices. Hasn't said yet, "he replied.

One of the fellow perpetrators replied that he came from the station.

"Me? From the station," he replied.

The perpetrators protested because residents recorded his face.

"I don't want to be recorded. Just privacy, privacy," he said.

Information is obtained if the perpetrators carry out their actions in the area of RT 08 RW 08 Lenteng Agung.

"Someone came pretending to throw garbage, someone asked the residents for money, that was yesterday afternoon, claiming they were from the cleaning staff," said Head of RT 08 Lenteng Agung, Dede, quoted from Kompas, Friday, October 3.

It is said that the perpetrators have acted in seven RTs in the RW 08 area.

"So he runs, there are seven RTs, maybe, then he doesn't know that this is a dead end. So he kept going until he was finally surrounded by residents," said Dede.

Until finally the six men were arrested by residents. Karsim, Head of RW 09, contacted Babinsa and the local Satpol PP.

"I don't know what happened, but because I entered my area, yesterday I called the Babinsa," said Karsim.

According to Karsim, the perpetrators received Rp152,000 in cash, the proceeds from collecting money from local residents.

"If I'm not mistaken, IDR 152 thousand," he said.

The Satpol PP that arrived at the location immediately took the perpetrators for further processing.
