British Police Choose Focus On Stabbing Jewish Citizens In Manchester Instead Of Securing Pro Palestine Action Demonstration Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Police have asked organizers to cancel the demonstration against the British Government's ban on the Palestinian Action group activities scheduled to take place in London's Trafalgar Square square tomorrow, Saturday local time.

This cancellation follows a stabbing at Manchester's sinagoge killings of two people on Thursday this week.

"The horrific terrorist attack that took place in Manchester yesterday will cause significant fear and concern in communities across the UK, including here in London," the British Metropolitan Police said on its X account, Friday, October 3.

Instead of wanting to keep protests safe, one of which is against Israeli annexation in Gaza and the Palestinian territories of Trafalgar Square this weekend, the British Police said they wanted to focus more on tackling the stabbing of targeting the Jewish community in northern Manchester.

"However, when we wanted to deploy all available officers to ensure the security of the community, we had to plan a meeting of more than 1,000 people at Trafalgar Square on Saturday," the British Metropolitan Police said.

For this reason, the British Police have asked Defend Our Juries, the group that organized the demonstration to support the Palestine Action group which is planned to be held this weekend in London to cancel the plan.

The Palestine Action group was barred from activities in the UK after its activists broke into the British air force base in Braiz Norten, Friday, June 20, resulting in damage to two military aircraft.

The Palestinian Group Action activist's efforts to prevent the British air force from engaging in war crimes are helping to send military logistics to Israeli soldiers attacking Gaza.

The group activity ban is listed in the UK Terrorism Act, which was published in early July 2025.

"We urge them to do what is responsible and delay or cancel their plans," the British Metropolitan Police said.
