Not Yet Dealed, The Directorate General Of Oil And Gas Calls Pertamina Again And Private Gas Stations

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Migas) has again summoned Pertamina and the private gas station operator to discuss the agreement to purchase basefuels.

Director General of Oil and Gas, Laode Suleman said this meeting will be held at the Office of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Ditjen Migas) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, today, Friday, October 3, at 15.30.

"I will get this agreement in full, at the meeting this afternoon at 15.30 WIB at the Oil and Gas Office," he told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Friday, October 3.

For information, base fuel is a pure fuel oil (BBM) that has not been given additional additives.

Laode said the meeting was held to discuss the obstacles faced by each operator, including the decision of private business entities to buy Pertamina's base fuel or not.

"So maybe we'll just have to wait for the afternoon, then more definite information regarding the existing agreement," explained Laode.

In fact, he said, business to business (B2B) discussions were still being carried out between private business entities and Pertamina but there was no agreement.

Regarding supply until the end of the year in private operators, Laode said it depends on the agreement whether the manager of private gas stations will buy basefuels from Pertina or not.

"So this is an option, yes, meaning that it will be empty until the end of the year or whether something is agreed upon. Like that. Pertamina and private business entities have been in talks again since a few days ago, but the results of the conversation I don't know yet. That's why we invited the meeting," said Laode.
