KPK Summons Firdaus, Inspector Of Mempawah Regency And 10 Other Witnesses Related To Road Project Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled a summons for FI as the Inspector of Mempawah Regency today, October 3. He will be questioned regarding allegations of corruption in the work of road improvement at the Mempawah District Public Works Service (PU).

Based on searches from a number of sites, the initials FI refers to Firdaus. He is known to have been sworn in on April 18 by the Regent of Mempawah Erlina who is the wife of West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan.

"The investigation was carried out at the West Kalimantan Regional Police," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Friday, October 3.

Apart from FI, 10 other witnesses were summoned in this case. They are EK as an employee of Bank Mandiri; FS who is a household staff for the Mempawah Regent; IS who serves as Head of Highways of the PUPR Office of Mempawah Regency; and JS who is a freelancer planning consultant.

Then MZ as a private employee was also summoned; UA who is a retired civil servant; MK as Director of PT Irendo Rekatama Pertiwi; HL who is the Director of PT Kreasi Prima Sejati; THY as Director of PT Kreasindo Putra Bangsa; and ES as a civil servant.

In this case, information on the summoning of witnesses was submitted by the KPK to the public, only mentioning the initials.

The investigators have also summoned Juli Suryadi Budadi, the money is the Deputy Regent of Mempawah who once served as the Head of the Legal Division of the Mempawah Regency Government on Thursday, October 2. However, Budi has not detailed the results of the investigation conducted by investigators in West Kalimantan.

As previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption in the improvement of Jalan Sekabuk-Sei Semeram and the work of improving Jalan Sekit Rama-Sei Semeram at the Mempawah District Public Works Office for the 2015 Fiscal Year. The investigation warrant (sprindik) has been issued some time ago.

There are three suspects who have been named but have not been officially submitted. Based on the information obtained, they are Abdurahman as a civil servant; Lutfi Kaharuddin who is an entrepreneur or President Director of PT Aditama Borneo Prima; and Idy Safriadi as a civil servant of Mempawah Regency.

To find evidence, investigators have also searched a number of locations. Among them are the house of West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan to the official residence of Mempawah Regent Erlina.

However, the anti-corruption commission has not detailed the results. Investigators are only said to be analyzing and confirming their findings to related parties.
