Asking For Judge's Tolerance, P Diddy: Promise Not To Create More Cases

JAKARTA - P Diddy or Sean Combs released a letter to the judge asking for generosity in this case. The letter was released less than 24 hours before he was convicted in a federal case.

P Didddy wrote a four-page letter to judge Arun Subramanian to ask for tolerance in his upcoming verdict.

First, I want to apologize and say my sincere apologies to all the pain I cause with my actions. I take responsibility for my mistakes in the past," wrote P Diddy.

He reflected on his 13-month prison term which made him remember when he tortured his ex-lover, Cassie repeatedly.

I lost myself. I lost on my journey. Lost in drugs and deeds. My loss has its roots in my warrant, wrote P Diddy.

'The prison was designed to destroy me mentally, physically, spiritually. More than a year there was a lot of time when I wanted to give up. There were many days that I thought I'd rather die. The old side of me died in prison on the new side I was born in. Prison changing or killing you - I chose to live, "he continued.

In his letter he also wanted to be a good father for seven children and take care of his sick mother. He asked for a second chance from the judge.

"Today I ask for another opportunity to be a better father, a better son, a better leader and a better chance to live a better life. I'm not writing this for sympathy, but this experience is the honesty of my existence and changing my life forever and I will never make a case again."

Earlier this week, prosecutors demanded that P Diddy be sentenced to 11 years in prison for two counts of prostitution. The judge also rejected P Diddy's lawsuit for a retrial.

P Didddy will undergo a verdict hearing on October 4 local time and will speak directly to the judge.
