The Latest Suzuki XBee Mungil Car Comes With Many Changes, Anything?

JAKARTA - Suzuki officially launched the XBee facelift with a fresher look. After eight years of presence in the market, this tiny city crossover now looks cuteer and more resilient thanks to the improvement of the exterior, interior, and engine performance.

The most obvious changes are visible on the front. Suzuki gave the new LED lights a semi-circular shape, a slim grille, and a stronger-style front bumper. On the back, finer changes with a new bumper and LED graphics on the back light.

The choice of rims is also varied, ranging from the steel model in the MX variant to the 'X'-shaped diamond-cut alloy for the highest type MZ. Consumers can choose single or dual-tone color options, plus accessories such as decal and Garnish bumper.

Entering the cabin, the Suzuki XBee facelift is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch infotainment display, to a head-up display option. The new steering wheel with middle shiftrs, updated air conditioning, as well as seats covered with synthetic leather materials makes the cabin feel more modern and comfortable.

Interestingly, a lot of storage space, including baggage with the compartment under the floor.

In terms of heart runway, Suzuki now uses a 1.2 liter 1.2 cylinder, coded Z12E, which produces 81 hp and 109 Nm of torque power.

The machine is combined with CVT transmission, available in the choice of front wheels (2WD) and all wheels (4WD). This new engine replaces the previous 1.0 liter turbo unit, focusing on fuel efficiency.

The safety features are also getting more complete. All variants are now equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist. The highest variants of MZ get additional additions such as electric parking brakes, Hill Descent Control, Grip Control, and driving mode Snow and Sport.

Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, October 2, the Suzuki XBee facelift has started to be marketed in Japan at a price starting at 2,157,100 yen or around Rp304 million for the MX 2WD variant. While the highest type MZ 4WD sells for 2,500,300 yen or around Rp352 million.
