Addie MS's Reasons Rarely Involve Famous Singers In The Twilite Orchestra Concert
JAKARTA - Addie MS will lead a show titled "Twilite Chorus 30th Anniversary Concert" which will be held at the Jakarta Simphonia Hall on November 8.
In this show, Twilite Orchestra will be side by side with Perbanas Institute Choir, PSM IPB Agria Swara, PSM Mercu Buana University, and soloist Antea Putri Turk.
In many shows with Twilite, Addie rarely includes pop singers who are known to the wider community. The main reason is the big cost that must be spent.
The 65-year-old conductor said that a music concert itself requires large funds. The presence of a star singer will certainly burden financing.
"We like to be afraid (inviting famous singers)," said Addie when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1.
"Sometimes there are artists who are idealistic, say 'I don't have to think about it (paid).' Well, Anyway, we try not to bother them,' he added. 'For example, if they want to, we'll let them know the situation is like this.'

In addition, Addie did show "Twilite Chorus 30th Anniversary Concert" as a music concert for death. He did not want the existence of an orchestra to be limited to accompaniment.
"We don't want to depend. So don't let people come to Twilite Orchestra to watch the star (singer), then we will be a companion," said the husband of Memes.
The concept is not that. We want to show my music. That sometimes the orchestra is instrumental, sometimes a choir, sometimes there are sopran or tenor or opera singers," he continued.
"We used to often come from Australia, a singer from the Sydney Opera House. So it doesn't depend on introduction. For us, introduction is number two," said Addie MS.
