'I'm Not Going To Let You Go': Trump's Campaign Says He's 'not A Good Man'

JAKARTA - Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan attended a coordination meeting with all regional leaders and forkopimda ranks. The meeting was chaired by President Joko Widodo.

After the meeting, Anies claimed to be asked by Jokowi to anticipate a spike in COVID-19 cases after the Eid al-Fitr season this year.

"Mr. President gave directions related to the anticipation of COVID-19 cases due to increased mobility of the population during the Eid al-Fitr season," said Anies at Balai Kota DKI, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 17.

Anies said that the movement of people's mobility after Eid al-Fitr 1442 H should still be anticipated until the end of next week.

The former Minister of Education and Culture continued, the government has had two layers of screening to citizens who return to Jakarta. "First at the entrance, second in the community," he said.

The first-layer screening is carried out by the vehicle sealing officer. Travelers who want to return to Jakarta are required to bring a COVID-19-free certificate. Otherwise, travelers will be required to undergo isolation.

Screening in RT and RW is the second tier examination on a community scale. The COVID-19 task force at the RT and RW level coordinates with the camat, lurah, Babinkabtibmas, and Babinsa to record the citizens entering the Jakarta area after Eid al-Fitr 1442 H.

The Head of RT and RW will be provided with a special application to report twice a day on conditions in the region. Travelers are ensured healthy and not symptomatic of COVID-19.

Anies underlined that this policy never prohibits people from entering Jakarta. Because, according to Jakarta part of Indonesia, Indonesians can enter any city.

"Currently in pandemic conditions before Eid we recommend not to travel, after Eid we do checks to those who enter," jelas Anies.

"So, this is not a ban on entering Jakarta but it is screening to detect jakartans who do not travel, obey the advice, they are protected," he concluded.
