Unhusbandless Woman Who Throws Baby In Cipete's Contract Claims To Be Khilaf
South Jakarta Metro Police said the motive for a mother with the initials TS (28) who dumped her baby girl in a water channel in the North Cipete area, Kebayoran Baru District, was Monday, September 22, due to a mistake.
"The motive is a mistake. So the person concerned is panicked because no one knows anything other than himself," said Head of the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) AKP Citra Ayu in his statement, Thursday, October 2.
The baby's disposal was carried out in the morning, when TS felt his stomach was lost. And at that time, he continued, the baby came out.
"So the incident turned out to be out in the morning (the baby), yes he reflected, released, then dumped," he said.
Citra also explained that his party was still accompanying TS even though he was a suspect.
"We will continue to assist it because we also need to improve the health recovery, we will pay attention to the condition. Then we have detained him," he said.
Meanwhile, the condition of the baby has been restored and an examination has been carried out at the Pasar Rebo Regional General Hospital (RSUD), East Jakarta.
"Currently we are entrusting the child at the Balita Social Service Institution owned by DKI Jakarta," he said.

Despite the status of the perpetrator, the mother, who is not married, is still undergoing health recovery because she gave birth alone in the boarding house.
Initially, based on the testimony of one of the witnesses with the initials S who was a boarding house guard, at that time he received information regarding the discovery of the baby.
It is suspected that the baby was dumped from the second floor of the boarding house. Then, the witness also found a ladder with bloodstains scattered on the back wall of the boarding house.
The report on the discovery of the baby was received by the police who immediately checked the crime scene (TKP) and secured the baby.
"Alhamdulillah, the baby is in good health, it's just that there is still a need for observation and supervision from the doctor for further," said Citra.
