Prevent Radicalism, Operation Madago Raya Extended And 256 TNI-Polri Personnel Alerted In Central Sulawesi
PALU - Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) has again extended the implementation of Operation Madago Raya phase IV in 2025 as an effort to maintain security stability and prevent the spread of radicalism and intolerance in the Central Sulawesi Province.
Head of Operation Madago Raya Polda Central Sulawesi Kombes Police Heni Agus Sunandar said the phase four operation lasted for 92 days, from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
He explained the extension of Operation Madago Raya Phase IV to create a safe and comfortable situation, as well as increase community participation in the context of preventing radicalism and countermeasures in the area of operation.
Heni said the operation aims to maintain security through deradicalization and counterradicalism in order to create a safe and conducive security and security situation in the Central Sulawesi region.
"This effort is to create a safe, peaceful, and conducive situation in three operational areas, namely Poso, Parigi Moutong, and Tojo Una-una Regencies," Heni said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 2.
In its implementation, he said, this operation was focused on deradicalization and counter-radicalization activities by prioritizing preemptive and preventive steps, as well as supported by other police activities.
He said the Central Sulawesi Regional Police involved 256 personnel, consisting of 232 Polri personnel, 20 TNI personnel, and four members of the Baharkam Polri Korpolairud.
Heni invites all elements of society, including religious leaders and community leaders, to play an active role in maintaining security and order in their respective environments.

"We hope that residents remain vigilant, are not easily provoked, and report immediately if they see suspicious activity. The synergy of the apparatus and the community is the main key in the success of this operation," he said.
He also appealed to the public not to easily trust information that is not yet clear on social media, and to continue to support security forces in maintaining regional conduciveness.
