Surabaya Police Facilitate Free Antigen Swab For Returning Travelers
SURABAYA - Surabaya Police facilitated the citizens of Surabaya, East Java for a free antigen swab. The test applies to surabaya residents who have just returned home.
"It is expected that the citizens who will return to Surabaya to equip themselves with swab test results as proof of their covid-19-free self," said Kasat Lantas Surabaya Police, AKBP Teddy Chandra, in Surabaya, Monday, May 17.
If residents who return to the Surabaya area do not have a letter of covid-19 antigen swab results, the police will provide a free antigen swab located at The Cito Post in Surabaya.
"We will work with both the puskesmas and the Surabaya Police department to provide free antigen swabs to residents," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of Surabaya Police AKP Muhammad Fakih also urged travelers who return to Surabaya area to do self-isolation in Kampung Tangguh Suroboyo post first.
Residents are also encouraged to report to RT or Bhabinkamtibmas or Babinsa to be recorded properly. He stated, the police will come to the citizens who return to the Surabaya area after homecoming.
To residents who return after homecoming, 3T will be conducted, namely Covid-19 test (testing), tracing, and follow-up in the form of treatment in residents exposed to Ccovid-19 (treatment). This will be carried out by Bhabinkamtibmas, Babinsa, and RT administrators.
"With the active role of the reporting community, both through local RT and Bhabinkamtibmas and Babinsa, we can take steps to anticipate the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus," Fakih said.
