Investigate Bank BJB Non-Budgeter Funds, KPK: Ridwan Kamil's Summons In The Near Future!

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the summons of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR) was just a matter of time.

Acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said Ridwan Kamil was indeed the last witness to be questioned. This is because investigators are still investigating information from other witnesses regarding the flow of non-budget funds from Bank BJB.

The non-budget fund is the difference in paying for the procurement of advertisements for Bank BJB returned by the tender winning company. The management is called the KPK carried out by the corporate secretary (corsec) section.

"God willing, in the near future (Ridwan Kamil will be summoned, ed)," Asep told reporters quoted on Thursday, October 2.

Asep said to trace the flow of non-budget funds to Ridwan Kamil, investigators have summoned a number of parties such as celebrity Lisa Mariana, who is reported to have had closeness and the son of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie, Ilham Habibie.

Habibie's son is known to have been summoned because Ridwan Kamil bought his father's Mercedes Benz 280 SL. The money to pay is thought to have come from the non-budgeting fund.

"So we asked for information from LM then from the suspects who had been determined and then from IAH we also explored," he said.

"So that later we will confirm the information they provide to RK's brother," continued Asep, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigations.

Previously reported, the KPK has named five suspects in connection with allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR).

They are former President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi; Head of Bank BJB Corporate Secretary Division Widi Hartoto; Agency Controller Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri Kin Asikin Dulmanan; Agency Controller BSC Advertising and PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres (WSBE) Suhendrik; and Controller of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama (CKSB) and PT Cipta Karya Mandiri Bersama (CKMB) Raden Sophan Jaya Kusuma.

This case investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued on February 27, 2025. The actions of the five suspects are suspected of having caused the state to lose up to Rp22 billion.

Currently, the detention has not been carried out on five suspects. However, they have been prevented from traveling abroad for six months and can be extended according to the needs of the investigation.
