Rocky Wood Confirms New Album Of The Rolling Stones Launches Next Year

Rumors that had blew hard have finally been answered. The latest album of The Rolling Stones has been completed and is ready to be released to the public in 2026.

The certainty came directly from the guitarist, rocky Wood, who answered straightforwardly about Stones' latest recording project.

"Yes, you will get a new album next year. It's finished (recorded)," Wood said during an interview with Bizarre's recent column on The Sun.

This announcement also confirms the widely heard rumors since the start of last summer, and reheated when producer Andrew Watt claimed to have returned to work with the Stones to complete his 25th album.

Not only news about the album, Wood also signaled that he, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards were planning to get back on the road.

When asked if The Rolling Stones would hold a tour to celebrate the release of the upcoming album, the 78-year-old guitarist gave a hopeful answer.

"Yes, we hope to hold several (concert) dates. Hopefully we will return there, but I myself am still waiting to find out," he concluded.

In line with Wood, Marlon Richards, Keith's son, also stated that his father's band was planning a European tour, although there has been no official confirmation to date.

Previously, Stones was known to have successfully toured stadiums in the US last year. However, reports circulated earlier this year state that they were forced to postpone plans for tours in the UK and Europe due to scheduling issues.

The last time they hit the stage in England was in 2022, with two grand performances at BST Hyde Park following a concert at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool.

With the certainty of the 25th album that has been recorded, fans just need to be patient waiting for the announcement of the exact release date in 2026 and the tour schedule that will shake the world stage.
