Police Will Hold Reconstruction Of Husband's Case Of Killing Wife In Kebon Jeruk

JAKARTA - The case of the formation of a wife by her husband on Puri Kembangan Street, Pandan Gang, South Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, on September 23, is still in the process of being investigated by the perpetrators.

Currently, the police will carry out reconstruction to clarify the actual chronology described by the suspect.

"Yes, in the near future. We will prepare everything first. We will reconstruct the case," said Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Nur Aqsha Ferdianto to reporters, Wednesday, October 1.

In addition, the police will also check the mental condition of the perpetrator who is currently being detained at the Kebon Jeruk Police.

"Yes, we'll see first, yes, what the condition of the perpetrator is in the cell," said Aqsha asserted.

Previously, Aqsha revealed that a perpetrator with the initials W (55) killed his wife, S (49), due to a household quarrel that peaked.

Aqsha said that the perpetrator and victim, who have been married for 29 years, are known to be undergoing a relationship that has not been harmonious lately.

"The victim left the perpetrator on the grounds that her husband did not fulfill his life needs," said Aqsha on September 24, 2025.

The fight between the two peaked when the victim was about to go to Kendal, Central Java.

The victim's desire made the perpetrator feel afraid to lose his wife, and the perpetrator shared his anxiety with his neighbors.

"In an emotional condition, the perpetrator ensnared the victim's neck with a bag rope to death," said Aqsha.

Immediately after the incident, the perpetrator locked the house and went to the Kembangan Police to surrender. However, because the murder took place in Kebon Jeruk, the handling of the perpetrators was handed over to the Kebon Jeruk Police.

After the perpetrator surrendered, the police immediately went to the location and found the victim was dead in the living room.

"A number of evidences, including the victim's clothes and bag straps used to kill the victim, have been secured," Aqsha added.

For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.
